Gurgaon at a Glance:
• Gurgaon, popularly known as Millennium City, lies at around 35 km from Delhi. It is located in Gurgaon district in the Indian state of Haryana and is also included under the National Capital Region (NCR).
• Gurgaon is primarily an investor-driven market. Factors like proximity to Delhi and international airport, availability of land parcels, employment opportunities, industrial development, favourable tax policies, etc. have paved way to real estate boom in the city.
• Gurgaon is currently a leading financial and industrial centre of India. It is a prime hub of multinational companies, software companies, telecom companies, call centres, shopping malls, multiplexes and skyscrapers. Gurgaon has emerged as the city with third highest per capita income in India.

• A large number of white-collar jobs have been created in Gurgaon after it emerged as a hub for IT and IT-enabled services in northern India.

• Under the new Gurgaon-Manesar Master Plan 2025, the availability of land for development and avenues for new growth corridors has opened up.
• The new master plan allocates 14,930 hectares of land for residential use; this is good enough for over 58 new sectors. Most of the new developments are taking place in these sectors.
• The major growth corridors in new Gurgaon includes Golf Course extension Road, Sohna Road, Dwarka Expressway, Pataudi Road, Manesar, Jaipur Highway and a concentrated growth in Bhiwadi and Dharuhera. Around the NH-8, the sectors of New Gurgaon like 37, 37D, 80, 81, 82, 85, 86, 90, 92, 93, 95, 99, 102, 103, 104, 106, 107, 108, 109, 110, 111, 112, 113 and 114 are registering an incredible response.

Gurgaon Real Estate:
• One of the most premium destinations in New Gurgaon after Golf Course Road is Golf Course Extension Road, which has emerged as the main hub for the expansion and development of New Gurgaon. It connects Golf Course Road to Gurgaon - Sohna Road. The Golf Course Extension Road, which is relatively a new locality, is gaining prominence owing to its easy accessibility to NH-8 and South Delhi via the Gurgaon-Faridabad Expressway.
• Most of the development along the Golf Course Extension Road took place in the very recent past. The Golf Course Extension Road includes new sectors like 61, 62, 65, 66, 67, etc. The extension of Golf Course Road to connect to Sohna Road further opened up the area for development.
